Maha's 1st Birthday Celebration - The Big One

First off all, i am really really sorry for not posting her b'day pics this long..There is no much reason than lazyness. Finally i took that away from me and i am here with the b'day. Actually i dont want to keep this post just blank with just pictures, i wanted to share how i planned for it..

Actually we celebrated two birthday for maha. I am sharing the real huge party in this post and will share the birthday card picture and the party which we celebrated in our home in my second post. 

I have been planning for this for quite a while. I have been writing my to do list over and over again from two months before the party. I wanted to make her first birthday really really special for her, starting from the dress, foods and everything.

I want maha's dress to be super cool, not like ordinary frock. So i ordered a pink colour beautiful tutu dress from this amazing felcy fashions. I also ordered a flower bow, shoes, hand band and also a angel wings..Loved it so much.

We booked a party hall in a restaurant called as lynns. I really loved the look of it.

Then i wanted their best foods, to be made. So i ordered these menus..

Welcome Drink - Mint Lemon Juice
Soups & Starter - Sweet corn soup, gobi manchurian, Chicken 65
Main Course - Parota, Chicken Masala, Vegetable Kurma, Jeera Rice, Paneer Butter Masala, Dosa with Coconut Chutney, Tomato Chutney & Sambar
Desert - Gulab Jamun with Icecream

We also bought a lovely plastic tiffin box and gave it as return gifts.

We wanted to take special pictures and capture each and every moment, so we booked for a candid photography. Check out this amazing candle light photography page. Will share pictures of maha's out door photoshoot soon.

I wanted to have a mickey as welcome person for guest, so we arranged for that also..

I ordered a three tier pink strawberry birthday cake with fondant characters and it was simple and elegant..Loved it too

Overall everyone had fun and loved the party as well as foods..I was glad that everything turned out good..

Maha's 11th Month Photoshoot

Sorry for not updating these many days, i was very busy and somehow didn't find time to update this blog..First i thought of posting maha's birthday pics, but then i found that i didn't put maha's 11th month and 12th month photos. So i thought of sharing it first. I will post maha's birthday photos in a couple of days. So keep checking..

Now this was not actually a planned photoshoot. Me and my sis did a new hair style for maha, so decided to take pics of it and it turned into a shoot. So here you go..

Maha's 10th Month Photoshoot

These pictures where taken on one day when i took maha to my mom's place, so it is not a planned shoot. Just casual pictures. I got that dress from chennai big bazaar, the neck piece came with that dress itself and i loved it so much. I have to get one..

Maha Favourite Rhymes / How to Feed a Baby / How to Feed a Fussy Baby

Just a picture of papa and pappu before a outing..

Like many moms i have experienced the pain in feeding my baby. She was a very very fussy baby. She never takes a single spoon of food wholeheartedly. There will be so much crying and pushing in feeding her. Many months passed like this. But now i have found a new way to feed her, by introducing music and rhymes. And found that it is quite successful. 

One of my and maha's favorite rhymes is this chu chu TV. I came across their channel in you tube and they make some of the best baby rhymes..

What i did is i downloaded all the songs from their channels and copied that in a hard drive. I have that connected to out TV. When i ever i feed her, i just turn it on and she really enjoy that rhymes and i feed her in just 5 to 10 mins. It is that easy. If your baby is like this, just try this way and it works..
